1. False...surprisingly despite normally poor weather the Green Bay contests have gone over 22 of the last 33 in December.
2. True…St Louis has won its share of NFL games over the years but has not been a good play when out manned at home. Only 1-9 as home dog.
3. True…The 49ers generally dominate down the stretch. They have gone (21-11) in their last 32 home affairs when favored.
4. True… the good and the ugly have been excellent at Dallas over the last 15 years in December in the role of a home puppy (8-1).
5. True…Miami’s warm climate seems to maybe cause some problems when they pack their suit cases for away games and the oddsmaker installs them as the favorite. Fish are a poor 2-12 as a road favorite in December since 1989.
6. True…Saints are still the Aints when it comes to home cook’n and football. 12-24 against the spread is their sad story in their last 36 efforts. It will be interesting to see if that trend continues in 2006.
7. False…Just the opposite. The Texans have played all 10 of their 11 young franchise road games under in December.
8. True…The Chargers have only been favored on the raod seven times in recent history, however when they are it is money in the bank. (6-1) vs the odds.
9. False…The Pittsburgh Steelers are a dismal (3-9) over the last decade when installed as a road favorite.

How to use the 900# system.

NET UNITS are determined by the following criteria. A TOP PLAY in football /basketball is 2.2 units to win 2.0 units and a regular play is 1.1 to win 1.0. If a handicapper is 4-0 on top plays(that is + 8.0 units) and 4-4 on regular plays (that is -0.4) he would be 4-0, 8-4 and overall + 7.6 units. In baseball the line is determined by a 10 cent line.
